Waivo

Waivo provides guest damage protection for vacation rental properties through its Protection Backed by Insurance (PBBI) plans, based on analysis of Waivo's public website as of July 2026. Coverage limits range from $500 to $20,000 per booking (most common: $1,500 and $5,000). Plans carry no deductible. Covered incidents include accidental and intentional damage, pet damage, and theft (police report required for theft). Waivo does not contact guests directly for claims; hosts submit damage notices via an online portal with photos and booking details, with a contractual 2-business-day response commitment. Volume pricing applies for larger portfolios. A white-label option is available for booking platforms and OTAs.
